Professor Nicholas Ossei-Gerning is Euracare Ghana’s Medical Director and Interventional Cardiologist. A dual Ghanaian & British national, Prof. Ossei-Gerning is an internationally-renowned expert in interventional cardiology and pudendology. After his initial medical training at University College Hospital in London and Cardiology training in the Yorkshire Heart Centre, he completed an Interventional Fellowship at the University of Alberta, Canada. Prior to joining Euracare Ghana in 2017, he was Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the University of Wales and a member of the Medical Advisory Committee at the Spire Cardiff Hospital. He has also served on the Executive Board of Welsh Cardiovascular Society and as a member of British and European Cardiac Interventional Societies. A leading authority on Vasculogenetic erectile dysfunction, he is also a member of the International Societies for Sexual Medicine and of the International Consultation for Urology Diseases.

Led by Professor Nicholas Ossei-Gerning, a UK- and Canada-trained interventional cardiologist, Euracare’s medical team comprises the following full-time personnel:

• 3 nurses, including several specialized in Cath Lab & Surgical procedures and Intensive Care
• 4 radiographers
• 2 clinical laboratory technicians
• 1 pharmacist

Resident Medical Team
Dr Benjamin Dabo Sarkodie is Euracare Ghana’s Head of Radiology & Interventional Radiologist. A Ghanaian national, Dr Sarkodie holds the distinction of being the first certified Interventional Radiologist in Ghana. In addition to completing a Visiting Fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in the US, he completed a clinical fellowship in Endovascular and Interventional Radiology at the Singapore General Hospital. A Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons as well as a lecturer at the University of Ghana School of Medicine and Dentistry, in 2014 he was the recipient of the international scholar award program of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
Dr Blessed K. K. Amoah is Euracare Ghana’s General Practitioner. A Ghanaian national and a graduate of The University of Ghana School of Medicine and Dentistry. Prior to joining Euracare in July 2018 he has been working for Ghana Commercial Bank Clinic, Del International Hospital and in other medical institutions in Accra. Dr Amoah is fluent in French and therefore consults patients in both French and English.
Dr Emmanuel Elorm Nortey-Adom is Euracare Ghana’s General Practitioner. A Ghanaian national, Dr Nortey-Adom graduated from the University of Ghana Medical School and has formidable years of working experience. Prior to joining Euracare in July 2018 he has had successful medical practice at Hobats Clinic, Aneeja Surgical and Medical Hospital, Akai House Clinic, Ridge Hospital and Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra.
Dr Afua Addo-Atuah is Euracare Ghana’s General Practitioner. A Ghanaian national, Dr Addo-Atuah is a permanent registered Medical Practitioner in Ghana and offers extensive clinical experience in both the public and private health care sectors. Prior to joining Euracare in 2019, she has been working for International Maritime, Ghana Civil Aviation Airport Clinic, C & J Hospital, Ridge Regional Hospital and 37 Military Hospital in Accra. Dr Addo-Atuah is acquiring her Master’s in Public Health from Ghana Institute of Management and Professional Studies.
