Dr Theodora Pepera

Consulting Gynecologist and Antenatal Specialist- MBBS (UK), FRCOG

Dr Pepera is Euracare Ghana’s Consulting Gynecologist and Antenatal Specialist. A Ghanaian national, she qualified at the Royal Free Hospital Medical School in Hampstead, U.K. She undertook basic and higher training at several teaching hospitals, mainly in London, including St Mary's Hospital (Paddington), Royal Free Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, Kingston Hospital and St George's Hospital. She was granted her Certificate in Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2005 and also holds a Diploma from the Royal College Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. In 2009, she was appointed Consultant Gynecologist and Colposcopist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2011. Since 2013, she has also been involved in teaching in Volunteer Programmes abroad and is a Lecturer and Outreach Volunteer Trainer with The International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr Udele J. Tagoe, a general gynaecologist and minimally invasive gynaecologic surgeon at LuccaHealth Medical Specialty Center in East Legon, consults at Euracare Ghana. She attained her degree as Doctor of Medicine at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, U.S., and undertook a residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Drexel University College of Medicine, Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Tagoe has had many years of successful practice at Penn Presbyterian Medical Centre, University of Pennsylvania and at Aria Jefferson Health, Department of Gynaecology, both in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. Dr. Tagoe specializes in advanced minimally invasive gynaecological surgery including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy with a focus on management of endometriosis and uterine fibroids.
